A 33 Zone Door Frame Metal Detector is a metal detector fitted in a door to detect metal hidden by the person passing through this door. 33 Zone means it detects metals in 33 pinpoint zones. It be a complete protection for your premises entrance.

This 33 Zone DFMD produces an alternating current that passes through a coil which produces an alternating magnetic field. When a person passes through the detector by hiding metal inside his clothes, the electrically conductive metal is close to the coil and the currents will be induced in the metal. It will produce a magnetic field of its own.
